//INTERNSHIPS FOR PUPILS
We always offer pupils the chance to get in touch with the working life and to gain their first precious experience in the world of labor when making the first attempts of planning their future career. The range of opportunities is wide and includes office jobs or an assignment at any of the numerous building sites the company runs. The option actually chosen depends on the internal demand and the pupil’s qualification. A detailed job application is not necessary for the internship of a pupil, a brief note stating the duration, the commencement date and the desired activity during the internship will suffice.

//TRAINEES
We are proud of the number of trainees we employ: The 21 trainees we had last year brought their share in EMIS’ total workforce up to six per cent. The practical training is done jointly with Vattenfall, one of the largest energy concerns in Germany. As a matter of principle, the vocational training is geared to the actual demand, which means that every trainee has the chance of being offered a job after having completed his or her vocational training. While an outstanding performance is demanded in all fields of the training, the development of each individual trainee is carefully monitored. Demanding and promoting are two sides of the same coin. Trainees with deficits are shown ways how to improve their performance, because together we are strong. Team work as well as openness and honesty in the way we treat each other are major elements of our value system.

We are looking forward to welcoming another 5 trainees in 2006 and can offer them vocational training for the following jobs:

  • mechatronic technician
  • electronic technician for technical equipment & installations
  • electronic technician for automation engineering

This year’s vocational training program puts the focus on automation engineering and equipment, a sector which, despite the difficult economic situation, has still a lucrative growth potential from which we would like to benefit with your help.

Commencement of the training: September 2006
Deadline for applications: April 30, 2006
