| EMIS EXPECTS FROM ITS EMPLOYEES A HIGH DEGREE OF PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. All employees at every level are required to look at their personal working environment as a small independent company, for which one is personally responsible. One is expected to weigh the risks, to take quick decisions and to account for one’s actions, like a self-employed professional or an entrepreneur does as well. In order to do so, we give the individual employee the necessary freedom and thus help him or her develop his or her natural abilities. Employees in an executive position are expected to show openness, initiative and the ability to abstract, so as to be able to also pursue approaches and strategies that might be considered unusual or unheard of in our line of business.
Targets and tactics will be set by the management. The way how they are implemented is up to the individual. We find this a future-oriented approach to demonstrate confidence and a means of granting freedom as well as promoting entrepreneurial activities.
