EMIS offers mining companies as well as grid operators a wide range of services that includes trouble shooting (fault diagnostics), inspections, maintenance jobs geared to the system’s actual conditions and general overhauls. These services cover the whole spectrum of electrical and I&C equipment, field equipment, power supply systems and switchgear, large-size open-cast mining equipment, drives and environmental measuring instruments. EMIS has the required qualification and is holder of approval certificates for all these fields of responsibility. The company has concluded general service contracts for a duration of one to three years with key customers.

EMIS also prepares itself for the rising power demand in Germany and Europe by servicing the power grids on behalf of the operators. The company thus makes a contribution to safeguarding the power supply for the industrial enterprises concerned and to the systems’ and grids’ permanent availability to these customers.
