BETWEEN YESTERDAY AND TOMORROW: EMIS ENERGY was founded in 2000 and runs a unique and decentralized power grid for the mining industry in the Eastern part of Germany with an overall length of some 900 km. The grid provides the power for the recultivation and reclamation measures in post-mining regions. We also prepare ourselves actively for the years to come, when the remediation of the post-mining regions will be completed, i.e. for the time, when the cooperation with other grid operators and the plant management for industrial customers will take priority.

ALL SERVICES AT A GLANCE CONSTRUCTION OF NEW & EXPANSION OF EXISTING ELECTRICAL PLANTS:

  • installation of high-voltage circuit breakers
  • installation and commissioning of complete high-voltage switch panels
  • overhead transmission lines and rope-work on outdoor installations

MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION OF

  • high-voltage installations (including relay and protection tests)
  • outdoor switchgear (incl. disconnector inspection and compressed-air operated controls)

  • designing and implementing complex controls incl. the bus connection of decentralized peripheral equipment
  • putting 110-kV/380-kV outdoor switchgear into operation (examination of the secondary circuits, transformers, functional tests from source to drain)
  • management of 110-kV transformer sub-stations and of external industrial grids
